Periodiskt samråd om transmissionsnätstariffer

Under 2024 genomfördes samråd om den prismetodik som används för att fastställa tarifferna i det svenska transmissionsnätet för naturgas.

Den första samrådsperioden pågick mellan den 8 mars och den 8 maj. Ett nytt samråd genomfördes av Swedegas och Energimarknadsinspektionen (Ei) mellan den 21 oktober och den 21 december.

Samråden genomfördes på engelska i enlighet med EU-förordning 2017/460 (NC TAR).

Nästa samråd beräknas preliminärt äga rum 2029.

Periodic consultation on transmission network tariffs

In 2024, consultations were conducted on the reference price methodology used to determine tariffs for the Swedish natural gas transmission network.

The first consultation was conducted by Swedegas between 8 March and 8 May 2024. Following this, Swedegas and the Swedish Energy Markets Inspectorate (Ei) conducted a new consultation between 21 October and 21 December 2024.

The consultations were carried out in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/460, establishing a network code on harmonised transmission tariff structures for gas (NC TAR). Under the regulation, a consultation on the reference price methodology must be conducted at least every five years, starting from May 2019.

The consultation may be conducted either by the national regulatory authority, Ei, or by the transmission system operator, Swedegas, as decided by Ei.

The consultation process and the related documentation were prepared in English in accordance with the applicable EU framework and for review by the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER).

The next periodic consultation is preliminarily expected to take place in 2029.
